With football fever rising across the world, the people of Chippenham are invited to take part in the hunt for a sporting legend. Sports Direct and Chippenham Connected have teamed up to bring the people of Chippenham a fantastic challenge with an amazing prize to celebrate the World Cup.
Somewhere hidden between the shelves of Chippenham’s Sports Direct store in Emery Gate Shopping Centre lurks a famous face. Find and identify them and you could win a fabulous footballing prize consisting of an official England football shirt, official World Cup football and an official England supporter’s t-shirt.
Sports Direct Manager Rob Forrester said, “‘We are very much looking forward to the World Cup here at Sports Direct. All our staff are hyped up and ready. They’ve enjoyed the build-up and decorating the store to support our English lions. We can’t wait for customers to come in and try and find the famous ex footballer. Hunting around the store and hopefully picking up some bargains while they’re at it. We have all the official England and FIFA gear on sale now!’
All you need to do is visit the store between 11th – 30th June and seek out the illusive celebrity. Once you’ve found them, speak to a member of staff or visit the Chippenham Connected Facebook page. From there, you can follow a link to an entry form online. A successful searcher will be picked at random in a prize draw. Entries close on 30th June 2018.
Chippenham Connected Manager, Kathryn Crosweller said, “It’s great to see businesses in Chippenham engage with events, and we know that football fans will love this competition!”
