The Great British Autumn Event

Details: Come and discover what the autumnal season has to offer at Longleat, with the leaves on the trees displaying their wonderful fiery colours. Evening events on the 24th and 25th of October, and the 1st and 2nd of November, include special firework displays set to a sensational soundtrack. If you’ve never been to Longleat before, couple your outing with a visit to the magical Longleat house, or book a drive-through safari to meet the resident wildlife.
Pumpkin Picking Patch
Where: Fordingbridge, Hampshire
When: 19/10/19 – 28/10/19
Details: They’ve been busy at Fordingbridge planting 75,000 pumpkin seeds in fifteen different varieties – come along and pick a pumpkin to take home. Prices start at £3, going up to £8 for the biggest pumpkins. Enjoy the food and drink on offer, and there will be Halloween crafts for little ones to enjoy as well. A fun day out for the whole family.
Bowood’s Enchanted Autumn
Where: Bowood House & Gardens
When: 23/10/19 – 01/11/19
Details: The popular scarecrow trail will keep little ones busy as they try to solve the mystery and break the witches spell. Revel in the wonders of the autumnal colours at this time of year as you stroll around the arboretum. Pop along to the restaurant to try the special seasonal dishes on offer. Pumpkin Week at Roves Farm
When: 24/10/19 – 04/11/19
Details: Forget the mess of pumpkin carving by doing it at Roves Farm – just take home your finished masterpiece. Other activities on at the farm include children’s craft, pet corner, tractor rides, the slippery slide and more. Keep the little ones entertained all day long with fun activities at Roves Farm.
Halloween Half Term Spooktacular
Where: Cholderton, Salisbury
When: 24/10/19 – 31/10/19
Details: Come along to Cholderton Charlie’s for endless activities this half term. A spooky Halloween quiz, pumpkin picking, children’s crafts, fancy dress parade (with a discount for those in fancy dress and daily prizes for the best dressed!) as well as all the usual activities on the farm.
