Charlie the Churchill Bear at Malmesbury Carnival

The sales team from Churchill Retirement Living’s new William Lodge development in Malmesbury were joined by company mascot Charlie Bear for the Malmesbury Carnival Procession on Saturday 31st August.

Charlie joined his Churchill Colleagues and many other local volunteers to collect donations along the carnival route, helping the Carnival Charity to raise a total in excess of £19,000 to support local charities and voluntary organisations. The Churchill team also handed out complimentary balloons, union jack flags and sweets to the crowds who lined the roads.

Jo Ridehalgh, Regional Marketing Executive at Churchill Retirement Living, said: “It was a pleasure for Churchill to be involved in the Malmesbury Carnival & Festival for the first time this year. Our mascot Charlie the Churchill Bear was a real hit with the kids, and the team all enjoyed giving something back to the community and raising money for so many great local causes.”
