Malmesbury Concert Band Plays the Market Cross

The Malmesbury Concert Band will be playing in the Market Cross in Malmesbury on Saturday, 30th September, between 1030am and 12 noon.

While playing a selection of its usual repertoire of classical, popular and original music, the main purpose of the programme will be to promote and act as a curtain-raiser for its main event of the year, its 10th Musical Extravaganza on Saturday, 28th October in the Assembly Room, Malmesbury Town Hall.

Director of Music Tony Fleming said: “ In addition to other entertaining pieces, this will provide an opportunity for the band to play, and the public to hear, some of the music we are planning for the Extravaganza.”
