Chippenham Town Guide

Chippenham is the third largest settlement in Wiltshire, and a hub for services and facilities in the area. Its exceptional transport links - including the M4, A4 and a main rail link to London - has made it an attractive proposition for commuters. As such, the town is continuing to grow and has a vibrant economy, with several large companies operating in the borough. Chippenham's market town origins are still seen in its two thriving weekly markets, and the pedestrianised town centre is home to two shopping centres.
